Celebrating Coventry with #Covhourlive

Coventry business networking #Covhourlive

Coventry, we salute you! 29th June 2017 – what an evening! We celebrated our amazing City and the people and businesses who are working to help to make it great.

If you’re a local Twitter user you may have heard of the online networking hour #covhour. Every Thursday evening since August 2013, local Cov kid Joanne Brooks, has encouraged businesses and local people to chat with her about local shops, businesses and events.

She does this on a voluntary basis. Over that time Joanne has built a Twitter following of over 10.5k, sent over 36,000 tweets and spent over 600 hours of her time promoting our wonderful City (for free).

We wanted to give Joanne the opportunity to be recognised for all that she has done and to help her to grow #Covhour further.

A quote from Dom Hyams (Assist Mi) on the night “human beings are amazing”.

We wholeheartedly agree. The #Covhourlive concept was an absolute team effort. Everyone brought something to the party and we’re proud to be part of this supportive (fun) team.
