Piece of Cake Marketing and Covhour celebrate Social Media Day
Social Media plays a huge part in the lives of many people today. It has changed the way brands and people communicate and make decisions.
Social Media Day 2016 is on Thursday 30th June with events being held across the world. Mashable launched Social Media Day back in 2010 to highlight the ways digital culture has revolutionised how we communicate.
To celebrate Social Media Day Piece of Cake Marketing are teaming up with our local Twitter hour #covhour. The networking hour now has over 8500 followers and you can take part every Thursday night between 8pm and 9pm by simply adding the hashtag #covhour in your tweets.
The hour gives local businesses an opportunity to talk to like-minded people and network from the comfort of their armchair. The networking hour was set up by Joanne Brooks, whose dedication has seen the networking hour grow in popularity.
On Thursday 30th June we will be giving businesses the opportunity to win a bottle of champagne just by re-tweeting our competition tweet using the #covhour hashtag.
Twitter is a fantastic medium for marketing businesses. If you’re prepared to put in some time and effort Twitter could be the perfect complement to your marketing strategy.
